New appointments as Vertas gears up for future growth
Vertas Group Limited, which provides facilities management at circa 400 sites across the East of England, has started the year with three new key appointments, including the creation of a brand new role of Group Operations Director.
Following three years of expansion and on reaching a key turnover milestone, the decision has been made to add another executive director to the board. Vertas’ first Group Operations Director, Keith Buet, joins the Ipswich-based business from a global facilities management firm, where he worked as an Operations Director based in the Middle East. Keith will join the four-strong executive team of directors led by CEO Ian Surtees.
Taking over as Vertas Head of Energy is Adrian Glasgow, who has extensive experience working both supplier and broker side in the wholesale energy market. Adrian will lead the team providing bespoke options including procurement, ongoing management, and bill payment and recharge services.
New Communications and Public Relations Manager Wendy Quantrill comes to Vertas from specialist education charity Lapwing. Wendy brings over twenty years of communications skills gained in the private and third sector.
Ian Surtees, Vertas Group Limited’s CEO, comments:
“Attracting talent of this calibre reflects the reputation we have gained across the region for providing an exceptional facilities management service. The appointment of a Group Operations Director brings extra operational resource and resilience at a time where we are ready to progress to our next stage of growth. I wish our new appointees every success at Vertas.”
